Frequently Asked Questions
Autopilot and Sonar are operated through the FishDeeper mobile app. There is no limit to the number of points (points of interest) you can save on the map within the app. You can instruct the Autopilot of the Deeper Quest to navigate to any of those points.
You can also select a rectangular or square-shaped area on the map, and Deeper Quest will automatically scan that area with its sonar and build a depth map.
Additionally, you have the option to create a path of points on the map for the Deeper Quest to follow. The limit of points in this case is 999 (in other words, there's essentially no limit).
The Deeper Quest can achieve a range of up to 400 meters, this is applicable to manual control, autopilot, and sonar functionalities. A robust range extender is integrated into the remote controller. The radio technology of both the controller and bait boat is specifically designed for extended range. No separate range extenders are required to utilize the sonar or autopilot within the 400-meter range - you have it available right from the start.
The Deeper Quest is covered by a 2-year warranty. In the unlikely event of technical issues, you'll be able to consult with our team of experts via 24/7 chat support or contact us via email at support@deeper.eu. In the case that warranty or service work is needed, you won't have to deal with any shops or third parties. We'll arrange free UPS shipping of your Quest to Deeper Headquarters, and the entire warranty service process shouldn't take longer than 2 weeks, including shipping time.
The 7-hour working time of the Deeper Quest is achieved with both batteries inserted. They are both required at all times to power the Quest and other features.
During the development and extensive testing of the Quest, we've achieved a hull design, weight, and size combination that allows for excellent hydrodynamics, speed, quality of steering, and stability, even in rough weather conditions. Additionally, the Deeper Quest is enhanced with a co-pilot feature. Inertial measurement sensors and co-pilot algorithms control the power of each motor separately and continuously adjust the RPM of each motor to ensure straight and smooth sailing. This functionality provides precise manual control and Autopilot performance, even in choppy waters.
