Who We Are
What started with one castable sonar has grown into a connected ecosystem of smart sonars, autonomous bait boats, mobile software, cloud technology, mapping, data and AI-powered features.
Today, Deeper products are used by anglers around the world, while our teams in Lithuania continue to design, engineer, test and improve the technology behind the entire Deeper experience.
What drives us has stayed remarkably simple: helping people understand the water better and finding smarter ways to explore it.
And we are still looking for what comes next.
Our Story
It Started with a Simple Question
In 2012, two anglers who would later co-found Deeper were fishing in Finland when they used a traditional boat-mounted fish finder for the first time.
It showed them depth, bottom structure and fish location, giving them information that completely changed how they understood the water.
But it also raised a simple question:
Why couldn’t anglers get the same insights from the shore?
The idea that followed was ambitious: take the capabilities of a traditional fish finder and fit them into a wireless, castable device about the size of a tennis ball.

Turning that idea into a real product took prototypes, testing, problem-solving and plenty of persistence.
In 2013, the first Deeper sonar reached anglers.
It did more than introduce a new product. It created a new category of fishing technology and gave anglers a completely new way to explore the water from shore.
And that was only the beginning.
